UPCOMING EVENTS:
On Sunday, May 18, 2025 the Board will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the cemetery’s designation as a Historic Texas Cemetery. All descendants and family members of those buried in the cemetery, members of the community, and anyone interested in the preservation of historical places is invited to join us at the cemetery at 2:00 PM for a brief celebration. The 2025 annual meeting of the Cesko Narodni Hrbitov Cemetery Organization will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Orsak’s Cafe in Fayetteville, TX (121 W. Fayette St.). (Please contact us if you plan to attend the annual meeting so that we can provide adequate seating.)
RECENT IMPROVEMENTS:
2025 Historic Texas Cemetery medallion and sign were refinished and relocated near the cemetery entrance. A raised stone flowerbed was built around the historical sign.
2024 Dybala Family Reunion Workday – October 4, 2024
2023 Restoration improvements were made to the grave site of Anna Janak.
2022 Debris removal project was completed in June. A huge brush pile, scattered tree limbs, 3 dead trees, and 9 tree stumps were removed.
Bench was repaired in May 2022.
2021 A new sign was placed at the entrance to the cemetery on October 28, 2021. We greatly appreciate the recent donations that made this improvement possible.
